Does Your Car Need New Brake Pads? They’re Free Throughout October!

Did you know that over 40,000 women die of breast cancer each year in the United States? This grim statistic is just a reminder that we need to do everything we can to come up with a vaccination and cure for breast cancer. Critical research is going on right now to help develop a breast cancer vaccine for both women and men because men can get breast cancer, too. Stringer Auto Repair joins Brakes for Breasts® every October to help raise money for the development of a breast cancer vaccine. You can benefit from this fundraiser, as well. Keep reading to find out how.

Free Brake Pads

From October 1 to October 31, Brakes for Breasts® donates free brake pads to all of our customers who need them. If it has been 30,000 miles since you had your brake pads changed, you probably need them. If your brakes are squealing or scraping when you slow down and stop your automobile, you definitely need them. Keep in mind that if you fail to replace your brake pads when they are worn, you can cause costly damage to the rotors.

October is the perfect month to take advantage of the free brake pads. You won’t have to pay for the brake pads when we replace them. The only thing you will have to pay for is our labor. This reduces your repair bill significantly, so schedule an appointment at our shop as soon as possible so you don’t miss the October 31 deadline. We can also perform any other maintenance services that are due on your automobile at the same time.

Why This Is Important

How you benefit Brakes for Breasts® is through the portion of the repairs that you pay for. When we replace your brake pads and perform any other services on your automobile, 10 percent of your repair bill goes back to Brakes for Breasts® for the Cleveland Breast Cancer Vaccine Fund. This fund provides money toward the research and development of a breast cancer vaccine. Can you imagine how many lives would be saved if we had a breast cancer vaccine?

As we said above, according to Cancer.org, approximately 43,000 women die of breast cancer every year. This number is astronomical, and you have likely been affected by breast cancer, too. You may be a survivor, or you may know someone who survived breast cancer. You may also know someone who passed away from it. As such, don’t you want to take advantage of the Brakes for Breasts® fundraiser going on all October long?
